Doorbell Ringer Single
Doorbell ringer – A single-wired doorbell system consists of a transformer, ringtone or chime, a door bell button and the cable that connects all the parts together. A single doorbell transformer is connected to a high voltage power supply and converts it to a low voltage supply.
Instructions of wire single doorbell ringer
Unplug the power to the only doorbell transformer. Remove 3/8 inch of insulation from the system’s low voltage wires with wire strippers. A single doorbell system has two low voltage wire ends of the transformer, two-button and four of the ringtone. Form end of both the low voltage transformer leads to a U-shape with sharp forceps. Slip one of the U-shaped wire ends of one of the transformer terminal screws; tighten the screw with a slotted screwdriver. Form two threads button single doorbell ringer into a U-shape. Insert the U-shaped end of one of the button’s low voltage wires around one of the button terminals. Tighten the terminal with a slotted screwdriver. Separate the four cables on the only doorbell rings. Drag a wire from the button around one of the transformer cables. Spin a wire nut over this couple. Place U-shaped wires of one of the only doorbell rings terminals. Tighten the calling terminal screw with a slotted screwdriver.
